DESCRIPTION

CIRM-AIEQ Mobility Grants aim to stimulate research on Montréal in an interdisciplinary perspective at the national and international levels. These two mobility grants are awarded annually by CIRM (Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Montreal) and the Association internationale des études québécoises to CIRM members presenting a paper abroad or living outside of the province and wanting to pursue their research in Montréal, to the most stimulating proposals with regards to CIRM’s mission.

AMOUNT GRANTED

The value of each grant is $2500 CAD. Eligible expenses: travel expenses, registration fees for the conference, accommodation expenses (accommodation and daily allowance).

TO PARTICIPATE, YOU MUST:

  • Be a member of AIEQ.
  • Be a member of CIRM.
  • The candidate must be the first author of the paper and the paper must be unpublished.
  • For a research project at the CIRM, you will need a letter of presentation that mentions the following elements:
    • The title of the research project
    • The dates and length of stay
    • The relevance of this stay for the research project
    • The expected benefits
  • For a conference in the province of Quebec or abroad, you will need a cover letter that mentions the following elements:
    • The title of the presentation
    • The location of presentation
    • The date of the presentation
    • The event framework
    • The relevance of this scientific event
    • The expected benefits
